Position Title: Program Manager
Location: Honolulu, HI (in-office and field)
Position Summary:
United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of Hawaii is seeking a dedicated and experienced
Program Manager to oversee and manage the Early Intervention (EI) program in a contracted geographic service area. This program provides critical services to infants and toddlers with special needs, developmental delays or disabilities, ensuring they receive evidence-based early intervention services to support their development. The Program Manager will be responsible for coordinating services, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, providing staff supervision, and fostering positive collaboration between families, staff, and community partners. Ability to meet all obligations set forth by the State of Hawaii purchase of service contract.
Position Qualifications:
Program Manger shall minimally have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and preferred experience in early intervention, early childhood, or related field, as well as supervisor experience AND three years professional work experience in public health, or other related field, which demonstrated knowledge of public health laws, rules and regulations; community health organizations and the services they provide; public health needs of the community; and current public health problems (master’s or PH.D degree in public health, nursing, social work, or other related field, from an accredited college or university may be substituted for one (1) year or two (2) of the specialized experience, respectively.
Preferably:
Two to Five years managerial experience working with social workers, educators, or a non-profit organization. Including to manage, organize schedules, coordinate, discipline and motivate a staff of 8- 12 professionals.
Other Duties May Include:
- Participating in fundraising activities for UCPAH.
- Participating with UCPAH staff to ensure safety, sanitation and security of office assets of the organization.
